2. NBPD Voluntary Surveillance Camera Registration Form
   With recent successes in solving crimes by using images from surveillance cameras on social media and traditional media, the New Braunfels Police Department now has a program where citizens can register their exterior facing surveillance cameras in an effort to assist in solving crimes. When a crime happens near a registered camera, a detective will make contact with the owner and ask permission to view their video. Knowing where these cameras are located around the city saves valuable time during investigations and could help in apprehending criminals or locating missing and/or endangered individuals. Participation in this program is completely voluntary and consent to view the video footage from your camera system can be withdrawn or declined at any time.
