There will also be a section of Morningside Dr. that will be completely closed from Loma Vista St. to Southland St., and a detour at Becker St. will be set up to accommodate traffic in that area. Southbound traffic from Vista Parkway to Rueckle Road will continue to have two-way traffic during this time.

Also beginning on Monday (01/18/21), Morningside Dr. will be closed to thru traffic from Schmidt Ave. to the I-35 Frontage Road.  Only local resident traffic and school buses will be allowed through this section. Schmidt Ave. will continue to have two-way traffic to I-35 and to FM 1044.
