Many City of New Braunfels facilities, including City Hall, Municipal Court, the Library, Parks & Recreation administrative offices, Solid Waste and Recycling administrative offices, the City Recycle Center, and the Westside Community Center will be closed on Friday, September 24th, 2021, in observance of the Comal County Fair Day holiday. Here’s a look at the holiday weekend schedule for city facilities and operations:
Das Rec
Das Rec will be open Friday (8am to 5pm), Saturday (7am-7pm), and Sunday (10am-6pm). Please visit the Das Rec website for additional information.
Garbage and Recycling Collection
Fridays are not typical collection days for residential garbage, brush, or recycling and the Solid Waste and Recycling Division’s administrative offices will be closed on Friday. Commercial garbage collection will run as normal on Friday and Saturday. The City Recycle Center will be closed on Friday, open on Saturday, and will continue its usual schedule of being closed on Mondays. Park Facilities and Amenities
The Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs will have normal operating hours. Please visit the Golf Course website for information about tee times or becoming a member.
