On today’s date (10-27-19), at approximately 12:40am, officers with the New Braunfels Police Department were called to the 100 block of Roadrunner Avenue for a report of a gunshot victim. Officers arrived to find a 28-year old male from New Braunfels lying in the street. It was quickly ascertained that the male was deceased from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
NBPD’s Criminal Investigations Division was called to the scene, including Crime Scene technicians, and the scene was carefully processed as part of an ongoing investigation. A Justice of the Peace also made the scene, pronounced the male deceased, and an autopsy has been ordered. Next of kin has also been notified.
