2022 WASSAILFEST IS SCHEDULED FOR DEC. 1, 2022.

The City of New Braunfels is excited to once again partner with the New Braunfels Downtown Association for the return of Wassailfest on Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. - the event will kick off at 6 p.m. with the community Wassail toast and welcome remarks at Main Plaza.

“Wassailfest is an iconic local event that brings the community together to celebrate the holiday season in our beautiful and historic downtown,” said New Braunfels Mayor Rusty Brockman. “Just like a good cup of Wassail, the community spirit of gathering together and helping local non-profit agencies warms the soul, and we hope residents and visitors find their way downtown for this festive event.”

Several street closures around downtown Main Plaza will affect driving routes from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., including:

• All of Main Plaza
• Seguin Ave. (from Mill St. to Coll St.)
• San Antonio St. (from S. Academy Ave to S. Gilbert Ave)
• Castell Ave. (from Mill St. to the alley behind the Antique Mall)

Drivers are asked to remove their vehicles from these areas prior to 4 p.m.

FREE Park & Ride Shuttle Service will be available from 5p.m. - 11p.m. The shuttle will pick up at City Hall (550 Landa St.) or the Landa Park Aquatic Center (350 Aquatic Cir.) and drop off at the corner of W. Mill and N. Castell.
