The City of New Braunfels has updated the Master Plan, Preliminary Plat, Construction Plans, Final Plat, and Recordation processes to be more timely. These updated processes comply with the recent statewide changes related to HB 3167.
What this means for you is that development is easier to understand, quicker to process, and more communicative.
To start, we HIGHLY SUGGEST booking a Pre-Development meeting. A Pre-Development meeting is where City staff will meet with you, one-on-one, to hear your ideas and work to lay out a step-by-step plan. During this meeting, you will be advised of Zoning, Land Use Plans, and gain a general understanding of the Platting process.
