The New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department operates the City’s recreation, athletic, aquatic, and nature programs, along with maintaining 41 parks, including the Landa Park Golf Course, comprising over 700 acres of park land.

The City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department (NB PARD) fully supports the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is committed to supporting the full inclusion of persons with disabilities into programs, classes, services and public facilities so that full participation may be enjoyed by all. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable modification to participate with NB PARD by contacting the Administration office at 830-221-4350. All requests must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the starting date of the program/service.

How to File a Grievance

If you feel that you have been unable to access a Parks and Recreation facility, program, or service because of a lack of accessibility or have been discriminated against because of a disability and would like to file a complaint, please review our ADA Compliance and Resolution Procedure for instructions for filing a complaint and the process that will be taken when the Park and Recreation Department receives a complaint.
