Camp Minnehaha, held at the Landa Recreation Center and Landa Haus, is a general summer camp program with a wide variety of daily activities. Campers will participate in arts and crafts, sports and games, nature and science, performing arts, cooking projects, special events and so much more! To ensure a great experience for all of the campers, each session has limited, registered campers. Campers need to bring a sack lunch, water bottle, swimsuit, sunscreen and towel to camp.

Cancellation Policy for Camp: Payment for each class session is due in full at time of registration. Full refunds will only be given if notice is received seven (7) or more days prior to the start of the registered camp week. No refund can be given once camp has begun. Registration costs can not be prorated for partial attendance.
The City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department (NB PARD) fully supports the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is committed to supporting the full inclusion of persons with disabilities into programs, classes, services and public facilities so that full participation may be enjoyed by all. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable modification to participate with NB PARD by contacting the Administration office at 830-221-4350. All requests must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the starting date of the program/service.
Balances can be paid online, signup.nbparksandrec.com, or by calling the Landa Recreation Center at 830-221-4370.
A deposit may be made at the time of enrollment, instead of full payment, to secure a spot in individual weeks of Camp Minnehaha or Fischer Park Nature Camp by paying $25 per child, per week of camp that they would like to register for. This deposit payment will reserve a camper’s spot in the program until full payment is due.
The remaining balance for camp tuition is due 14 days before the campers first day of camp for each registered week. Failure to submit the remaining payment, 14 days before registered start date, may result in the forfeiture of that week’s deposit and the loss of the reserved spot at camp.
Special circumstances related to withdrawal requests not specifically covered within this policy will be determined at the discretion of the NB PARD Director or designee.
