Assistance to Victims of a Crime
The New Braunfels Police Department is very concerned with the needs of victims in our community. The department's Crime Victim's Liaison works under the command of the Investigations Division and is there to insure that the victims of violent crime and domestic violence are provided information on where to obtain help and for the Texas Attorney General's Crime Victim's Compensation Program.

The Victim's Liaison works closely with the prosecutor's office, and Comal County Women's Center in insuring that victims are afforded their rights and to make the transition through the court system as painless as possible. The Victim's Liaison is also available to assist victims with all paperwork regarding the compensation program.
