Join us in Landa Park as we celebrate the enhanced quality of life trees bring to the community!
Arbor Day is a time to celebrate trees and the many benefits they offer. The Parks and Recreation Department, along with the New Braunfels Council of Garden Clubs is delighted to offer this FREE family friendly event. 

2014 Event Information:
Saturday, October 18, 2014
10:00 am until 2:00 pm at picnic area #8 in Landa Park

Join the Fun!
We will have plenty of activities for you to get involved and even get your hands dirty. A ceremony and tree planting demonstration will kick off the event at 10:00 a.m. followed by 27 new tree plantings and tours for the Dolores and William Schumann Arboretum. The celebration will also feature kid's activities, a free tree giveaway and educational booths from local organizations.

Free Tree Giveaway
We will be giving away 800 tree seedlings at the event. Types of trees offered will vary, we will post information on tree species once they are selected.

We are proud to collaborate with many local organizations to host Arbor Day.
Those organizations include, New Braunfels Parks Foundation, Kriewaldt Tree Care, Action Angler, Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, Texas A&M Forest Service, New Braunfels Utilities, River Road Nurseries, Native Plant Society of Texas, Apache, Guada Coma Garden Club, Men's Garden Club, Four Seasons Garden Club, Comal Garden Club, The Plant Haus Nurseries, BioWest, New Braunfels Public Library, Comal Master Gardner's, New Braunfels Recycling.
