Forging Police and Community Partnerships

It is the mission of the New Braunfels Police Department to work closely with the community to identify concerns and implement solutions.
 
This is accomplished through a cooperative effort with our citizens to reduce criminal opportunity, to enhance the quality of life, and to make New Braunfels GREAT. The New Braunfels Police Department provides a variety of programs that educate participants on how best to achieve these goals. Public education concerning crime issues is an important part of the police department’s overall response to crime in the community. A properly informed citizen will find it much easier to reduce his or her risk of becoming a victim of crime.

It is our philosophy to forge police and community partnerships to reduce crime and instill a sense of safety for all citizens of New Braunfels.
