Residential Recycling
Overview
Recycling is collected from your home on one of your regular garbage collection days. You are charged $5.25 per month for this service. The charge is reflected on your utility bill.
Recycling in not collected from apartment complexes or condos. Residents of those households can drop off recyclables at the City Recycle Center.
Holidays
No collection will be made on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Years Day.
Collection Methods
There are two collection methods for recycling. Most households are using a small 18-gallon curbside container for the recyclables. Some homes are participating in a pilot program. These homes use a large 96-gallon automated container like their trash container for recyclables.
