These volunteer workdays are hosted by the Comal Trails Alliance. The Alliance is dedicated to creating a system of trails connecting communities and providing opportunities for education, health and enjoyment of the natural resources of Comal County. The first objective of the group is to work on the Dry Comal Trail located on the 337 Loop near the New Braunfels Little League fields.
Volunteers make certain to wear work clothes, bring gloves and pruning tools if you have them or just bring elbow grease to help clear debris and highlight the natural beauty of this trail.

This meeting is structured to not only provide information to attendees but also to facilitate the gathering of input from them.”
Camareno also noted that the process of developing the FY 2016-17 budget includes many components, including multiple opportunities for citizen contributions. Residents are encouraged to provide their opinions at this community meeting, at the public hearings being scheduled for August and via the City of New Braunfels FY 2016-17 Budget Development Community Survey available on-line at www.surveymonkey.com/r/NewBraunfelsCityBudget through May 22nd.
