Why do I have to pay a non-resident fee if my address states I live in New Braunfels?
The library is funded by the City of New Braunfels. City limits do not coincide with Postal Service address or school district service areas, so some people whose address includes “New Braunfels, Texas” or who pay Comal County, N.B.I.S.D. or C.I.S.D. taxes may actually live outside the city limits. The absence of City of New Braunfels taxes on a property tax bill is a good indication of non-residency.
