[ARCHIVED] Memorial Day Weekend Closures

Most City of New Braunfels facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day.

Those closures include New Braunfels City Hall, the Parks Administration offices in Landa Park, and curbside pickup at the New Braunfels Public Library.

Other facilities, like playgrounds in Landa Park, the Landa Park Recreation Center, the Landa Park Aquatic Center, the Fischer Park Splash Pad, the Fischer Park Nature Center, and the Westside Community Center have been closed due to the response to COVID-19, and will remain closed throughout the Memorial Day weekend.  Other amenities that will remain closed over the Memorial Day weekend include the Landa Park Miniature Golf Course and the Landa Lake paddleboats.

Solid waste and recycling services will continue as normal on Monday, including the resumption of green waste recycling services (see additional media release for details).

The Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs will be open during normal operating hours on Monday, with virus-related restrictions remaining in place.  Das Rec also has modified hours of operation for Memorial Day Monday (8:00am to 5:00pm), along with virus-related restrictions.
