The City invites the public to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of Morningside Park on Monday, January 23rd at 11 AM. The event will be held at Morningside Park, 3737 Morningside Drive, next to Morningside Elementary.
Following the ceremony, the community is
invited to walk a lap around the new park with Mayor Barron Casteel kicking off
New Braunfels participation in the It’s Time Texas Community Challenge.

Park has something for everyone to help them enjoy the benefits of parks. From
the bike track and playground for children - basketball court and gaga ball pit
for teens - to the walking trails for adults and seniors, Morningside Park is
sure to create treasured memories.”
16-acre neighborhood park will offer residents a variety of amenities including
a playground, a children’s bike track, walking trails, a gaga ball pit,
basketball court, restrooms and a nature play area. The new,
nature-based area creates opportunities for children to explore, discover, take
challenges and risks, and learn in nature.
