The Counselor In Training (CIT) program is designed to provide opportunities for teens to grow in the areas of leadership and responsibility while beginning to gain valuable work skills for future use. The CIT role at camp provides support to the camp staff and campers by assisting with activities and camp events, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and the well-being of campers.
Provide hands on assistance to counselors in the areas of camper care, activities and programs, safety and supervision.
Assist with keeping a safe and clean working environment.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship and be a good role model for campers.
Meet with the CIT Coordinator once a week, each week you are attending, to brainstorm ideas for the next week of Camp’s ABC’s (Activity By Choice) and All Camp Event’s.
