Pre-Trial Hearing


If you wish to contest your case, you may enter a plea of not guilty and you will be scheduled for a court date to speak with the Prosecutor regarding the merits of your case prior to proceeding to a trial by Judge or jury.  

After the conclusion of the pre-trial hearing, if you still wish to proceed with a trial by Judge or jury, you will then be scheduled for another court date to review any evidence in your case with the Prosecutor.

In order to process this request, you can do so in person or by correspondence.  If you submit your request by EMAIL, by fax: (830) 608-2148, or by mail: 550 Landa St., New Braunfels, TX 78130 you must include ALL of the following: 

  1. Request and plea of not guilty (if not previously entered).
  2. Photo ID
  3. Signature (by typing your name at the bottom of your email or handwritten and attached)
  4. Current phone number
  5. Current mailing address
Tip: If you have a smart phone, you can take a picture of any handwritten requests, signatures, or other documentation and attach them to your email.


Uncontested Docket


If you wish to discuss your case with the Judge, you may submit your request, and once received, you will be scheduled for a court date to come in to the court and speak with the Judge.  

NOTE:  the Judge will not hear any facts or circumstances regarding your case prior to entering a plea of either guilty or no contest at the time you appear.  If you wish to discuss any matters surrounding your case prior to entering a plea of guilty or no contest, the Judge will reschedule your case for you to come back to court and speak with the Prosecutor.
