The Parks and Recreation Department operates the city's recreation, athletic, aquatic and nature programs, along with maintaining 41 parks, including the Landa Park Golf Course, comprising over 700 acres of park land.

The City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department (NB PARD) fully supports the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is committed to supporting the full inclusion of persons with disabilities into programs, classes, services and public facilities so that full participation may be enjoyed by all.
