Homebound Library Service Library patrons who are homebound and have no other means of receiving library materials (such as through a family member or friend) may be eligible for Homebound Library Service. If you are homebound because of age, disability, or illness, our team of screened and trained volunteers will deliver books to you every fourth Thursday.
Tell us your reading preferences and we'll select up to four books especially for you and bring them at a time of day that is mutually convenient for everyone. Each month we'll take back the books we brought the month before. You'll receive personalized visits, no overdue fines, and a longer loan period than a regular library user.
If you would like more information or want to get started having books delivered to you, contact the library at (830)-221-4300 and ask for the outreach librarian.
